Programme Information
MA in Global Studies
The program provides students with essential knowledge to “know the world”, and critical understanding of the theory and practice in several domains of global studies in academia or workplace contexts, with a focus on advanced analytical skills. The program covers four major domains of global studies, which are operationalized as three concentrations from which each student chooses one: international relations, global political economy, and Comparative Area Studies. The program provides advanced training for those students who are interested in pursuing careers in global affairs or those interested in pursuing more advanced degrees in the relevant domains of global studies in the future. With solid foundation in global studies, this program prepares young professionals for dynamic global careers, and inspires potential global leaders with broad international perspectives.
Please submit the following items to us.
1. Official Transcripts from the University attended by applicants; If transcripts do not indicate the average score or grade, proof of the average score is required;
2. Copies of Degree Certificates;
3. Documents showing the applicant has fulfilled the English Language Proficiency Requirement;
4. Confidential Recommendation Letters from Two referees respectively with signatures (by providing referees’ email in the online application system);
5. Personal Statement and CV;
6. Copies of your Identity Card;
7. Other supporting documents upon request.

The screening of all applications will begin after the application deadline. Applicants with complete application will enter the screening process. Those who are qualified for an entrance exam/interview will be notified via email.
